P0-A1: Part 371: Art Improvements

The new shuttle will be designed to be a lot more efficient in it’s use of space. The old one had a lot of wasted space in the nose. The new shuttle will be designed to have the largest internal volume possible.
The disadvantage of this is that it will look quite “blocky”, since the most efficient shape for storing objects is a square, this is quite limiting from an aesthetic point of view. The advantage, however, is that I will be able to store much bigger objects in the shuttle without enlarging the hanger.
The rover, for example, is far too small at the moment, with the new shuttle, I should be able to scale it up significantly:
I have also run into a problem with the clouds in Unity 2018.1. I am creating them too far from the origin, and this is leading to errors. I will, unfortunately, need to spend some time replacing the existing cloud system, since it doesn’t look like it can be modified to solve this issue. This is something that I had planned to do eventually, but not in A1.
