P0-P-172: Part 52: Gui’s
I have been spending most of my time this week working on the various gui’s for the shuttle.
I have added the ability to fire “decoys” from the countermeasures menu, which allow the player to evade incoming missiles. This effect looks great, and the game is actually starting to become fun to play now, since there are several things that the player can do.
There is also a set of warning lights that will tell the player when an enemy missile has locked on, when it has fired, and when it it close to the players ship. The player can respond by using various forms of countermeasures, including the aforementioned decoys.
I have also added support for JQuery to the html based gui code that I am using. That allows me to create gui’s using complex graphics such as this:

I will be using these for some of the guis I will be creating in the future.
I have also been doing some texturing with substance painter, although I am a little behind schedule on this.
