About PGD

Phoenix Game Development has been Online for over 20 years.

In it’s early days it mostly featured tutorials, posts, and content relating to the Torque Game Engine by Garage Games (Torque Game Engine, Torque Shader Engine, Torque Game Engine Advanced, etc).

The site also featured Programming and some Electronics related content, mostly involving the Arduino Microcontroller, and well as various other electronics and related projects. These can be seen on the legacy PGD blog, accessible HERE.

At this time, the site also heavily featured Game related content using the Torque Engine, in addition to some other content, ranging from custom OpenGL games engines to Apps on the Android app store.

Approximately 10 years ago, PGD switched to the Unity Engine, and began working on the most complex project to date, which eventually became known as Spiritus Astrum.

The demo for Spiritus Astrum is now available HERE on steam.

PGD has recently began to feature AI-related content, including both image generation with Stable Diffusion, and content related to Large Language Models.
