P-168: Phoenix Character Print: Unwrapping: Part 2
I think I have come up with a fairly usable UV map. It’s not perfect, but it should allow me to texture the model fairly easily.
This is the first time I have used the “pelt” tool and the first time that I have unwrapped a model as complex as this, so I think the results are quite good.
I now need to fix a few minor issues with the mesh, and then create the texture.
These images show a single colour texture being applied to all of the different parts of the mesh. There don’t seem to be any visible stretches or distorted areas.
