P0-P-172: Part 59: SEE: Multiple Terrain Textures with blending

I have finished the terrain texturing for the moment. The blending algorithm that I used on my previous shaders worked well, although I had to modify it somewhat for unity.

I think the terrain now looks absolutely great. I downloaded some high resolution seamless textures from textures.com, and added about 6 textures to the terrain. Even from very close range, it really looks great, there is a real sense of the vastness of the terrain now, which I didn’t feel before.

My shader does not, currently, support any kind of normal mapping or advanced effects, and these seem to be reasonably easy to add in with unity’s shader system, so I could improve the quality even more in the future.
