I have decided on the basic plan for the Early Access release of Spiritus Astrum.

The goal is to have about 10 hours of main story content, plus more procedural content, as well as to improve the art, fix bugs, etc, before I go into early access.

It shouldn’t take an excessive amount of time to do this. There is already about 4-5 hours of main story content in the game.

The steam Space Exploration fest (Which Spiritus Astrum is entered in) will go live on the 2nd of September, and run until the 9th.

I am hoping that the demo will do ok during this period, and that there are no more bugs or issues that I haven’t discovered!

Once the next fest is over, I will then focus on the early access release of the project.

I have identified some minor issues with the demo, which I have fixed with an updated build.

One of these bugs could have been preventing players from starting a game, but this should be resolved now.

I intend to add more help menus, tutorials, etc, at a later stage, the learning curve is quite steep.

I have released a 1-hour lets play of the Spiritus Astrum demo, which could be useful for new players getting to grips with the game.

The last minute testing and improvements are now done.

In addition to creating the trailer, I fixed some other minor bugs, and I added some help text to the game.

I also made some minor changes to the intro, and fixed a few minor issues.

The demo is now basically ready to launch.

I will continue to improve it over the coming weeks, if I do find any issues or bugs, etc.

Then the next step willbe to work toward the early access release.

I have been working on the last minute goals and objectives for the demo.

There have been quite a few small issues that I had to fix, including some minor bugs.

I also had to add in features to restrict the player from entering certain areas at the wrong time, etc.

I have also made some improvements to the generation of cities, etc, and a lot of other minor improvements.

I have made some more minor UI changes and improvements to the demo, and I have also rebalanced some of the variables, such as the chances of random items appearing, etc.

I have also done some more testing on the demo, and made some more minor quality of life fixes and improvements, but everything is basically ready for an early release now.

There were also some minor issues with item placement, etc, that were fixed too.

The demo will be limited to 60 mins of gameplay per character (using a timer), however, they player can replay the game with different characters an unlimited number of times.

They have the option of following the main story or exploring the world, etc.

The demo is basically done now, and it due to be released, hopefully, next week, certainly by the end of the month.

There are some minor issues with the game still, but I am confident that these won’t prevent an early release of the game.

I have also removed some more features of the game from the demo, such as the advanced build options, etc. Players can now only build simple items in the demo.

The difficulty is also quite a bit lower in the demo, since it is much shorter than the full game, and so the player doesn’t need to survive for as long, etc, but this shouldn’t be a problem.
