P0-A11: Part 986: Server Setup, Testing
The preliminary testing and bug fixes for the crafting system are done. There were no major issues here, thankfully.
I have also tested hunting, cooking, and other survival elements, in addition to crafting.
I have also tested and made improvements to the inventory system. There was an issue where the currently selected item wasn’t saving properly to the server.
The next step is to plan a third guided tutorial, which will be the last one for the beta phase.
P0-A11: Part 983: Server Setup, Testing
I have conducted extensive testing of the core features of the project with the new server, and with continuous play sessions, and corrected some minor bugs.
I have also identified some slightly more serious bugs, but these should be fixed soon.
I have also created a file server, which I can use to allow the game client to be downloaded in the future, once I launch the beta stage.

P0-A11: Part 982: Server Setup, Testing
The server is now basically working.
The live server has been running uninterrupted for several days, with multiple connects and reconnects and continuous play sessions, and there are no major issues.
The next step is to work on extensive testing of the project with the live server, and prepare a set of tutorials for the beta phase, that can guide and teach the mechanics of the game to new players.
P0-A11: Part 981: Testing, Improvements
Preliminary testing with the new VPS has gone very well.
Clients can connect to the remote server, and everything seems to work ok.
I have tried multiple disconnects and reconnects, etc, and there are only a small number of identified issues.
I will hopefully be able to fix these issues quickly. I can then work on extensive testing for the first beta release of the project.
I may also use the VPS to allow users to download the project client as well.

P0-A11: Part 980: Testing, Improvements
The server setup is going well!
mySQL is installed and working, and I have a linux headless server build running on the server too.
There are still quite a few issues to solve before I can properly connect to the server using the project client though, and I will then need to run extensive tests to make sure that the server is stable over long periods.
So far, this seems to be going well though.

P0-A11: Part 979: Testing, Improvements
I have finished most of the preliminary build testing and setup for the early beta build.
I have also fixed some other, minor, bugs with the multiplayer component, such as players spawning in the same location, etc.
The next step is to set up a Virtual Private Server for the project.
Once this is done, I can work on some real-world network testing.
P0-A11: Part 978: Testing, Improvements
I believe that most of the critical errors and bugs have been fixed, although there is quite a bit of optimisation, etc, to do.
The next step is to purchase a virtual private server and upload my game server onto it.
This will be somewhat difficult, since I will need to create a linux build of my server, and setup the server and mySQL database using just the command line.
I will then add a lot more documentation and in-game prompts and tutorials.
