{"id":9836,"date":"2023-09-03T23:50:58","date_gmt":"2023-09-03T22:50:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/phoenixgamedevelopment.com\/blog\/?p=9836"},"modified":"2023-09-03T23:50:58","modified_gmt":"2023-09-03T22:50:58","slug":"p0-b5-part-1297-debugging-improvements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phoenixgamedevelopment.com\/blog\/p0-b5-part-1297-debugging-improvements\/","title":{"rendered":"P0-B5: Part 1297: Debugging, Improvements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I am still working on the model for the new player controlled starship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have finalised the design for it, and I have solved most of the problems that I had with the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was going to have a smoothed hull, but the problem with this is that if the hull is smoothed and the interior isn&#8217;t, I had no way to join the exterior and interior together without leaving seams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have decided, for now, to rework the exterior hull to make it flat, and then add &#8220;greeble&#8221; to it to add detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This shold also make it much easier to further model and texture the hull, since there is less geometry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am still working on the model for the new player controlled starship.
