The issue is that because the scanning code runs in a separate thread, I cannot use unity gameobjects. This means that I can&#8217;t interact with the floating origin system to shift the positions of the world objects as they are being scanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is, hopefully, a solveable problem, but currently this code is quite messy, and I was trying to improve it using async\/await, which may not be possible now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been working on extensive testing and improvements for the asynchronous scanning code in the project.
