This week I mostly finished the advanced search feature for this project. It is now possible to search in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n

It is possible to search for Records by Post Title, Message Body, or Journal name, as well as by Post date. It is also possible to display all individual posts matching the criteria in the results window, or only display the individual file that they are in. This is helpful to narrow down the search.<\/p>\n

I intend to implement the ability to search by filename, as well as searching by file creation and last accessed date.<\/p>\n

I also need to implement a system of search and information. These tags can be added either per post (specific to that post) or per journal (allowing users to add custom fields to the journal posts). I will also need some kind of predictive text system for this to work effectively, so that tags can easily be added and searched.<\/p>\n
