{"id":3958,"date":"2016-10-16T23:53:32","date_gmt":"2016-10-16T22:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/phoenixgamedevelopment.com\/blog\/?p=3958"},"modified":"2016-10-19T03:15:20","modified_gmt":"2016-10-19T02:15:20","slug":"p-172-unity-space-environment-part-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phoenixgamedevelopment.com\/blog\/p-172-unity-space-environment-part-20\/","title":{"rendered":"P-172: Unity: Space Environment: Part 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have finished the last of the doors that I was working on, I think they look quite good.<\/p>\n<p>I have also finished texturing all of the rooms except for one, and I have finished modelling that room.<\/p>\n<p>I hope to have the interior of the structure finished in the next week or so, but I then need to model the exterior. I am not sure how best to proceed with that. I could duplicate the interior, and then flip it, which I intend to do, but I will then need to make sure it fits exactly over the interior, or the user will notice what is going on. This may take some time to get right.<\/p>\n<p>After that, I need to model the smaller details of the station, as well as the interior objects.<\/p>\n<p>I also need to fix the strange issue that I am having with &#8220;checkerboard&#8221; shadows being cast on my interior surfaces.
