{"id":10823,"date":"2024-12-29T23:39:26","date_gmt":"2024-12-29T23:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phoenixgamedevelopment.com\/blog\/?p=10823"},"modified":"2025-06-05T15:07:41","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T14:07:41","slug":"spiritus-astrum-p0-b9-p1478-towards-early-access","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phoenixgamedevelopment.com\/blog\/spiritus-astrum-p0-b9-p1478-towards-early-access\/","title":{"rendered":"Spiritus Astrum [P0-B9]: p1478: Towards Early Access"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I am still working on the art concepts for the next phase of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will be adding in new vehicles, new enemies, and new story elements, which will take a lot of time, but it should add a lot more depth to the gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have also been looking into volumetric nebulae, gas giants, and clouds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can&#8217;t find any assets or sample code which work for my project (Most either don&#8217;t support arbitrary up vectors, or don&#8217;t support realistic sized worlds).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, I am just using a simple particle effect system which fades in and out as the player passes through the atmosphere.
