Unity: Evaluation Part 2

I have completed a simple art Demo in Unity. This is a very basic demo of the standard features of the Unity editor, plus some assets from the asset store. I have not created any art for this demo.
I think the near photorealistic nature of even the standard Unity tools is staggering, and the sheer number of assets in the asset store (both paid and free) would be enough to speed up the development of almost any project.
The first project that I make in most new engines or versions of engines seems to be an island, I don’t know why that is, it seems to be my “Hello World” level or scene that I make.
It’s interesting to compare this scene to previous engines. Again, as I mentioned, the thing that really amazes me is the grass. I can completely cover all areas of the terrain with grass, for no performance penalty at all, that is very, very impressive.
