Milestone 2 details, plus update

This has been my first update in a while. I have purchased www.SpiritusAstrum.com, and I intend to use it an an in-context information site, with details on the world, the backstory, races, weapons, ships, technology, etc etc of Spiritus Astrum. I will keep the development discussion to PGD.
I have also worked out the objectives for MS2. They are:

The ability to select and pilot a starship, and fly to other planets within a single star system. (No faster than light, or Star Travel, as I am calling it).
The ability to select from one or more "zones" on each planet, and land on them (Most planets will require the use of dropships, some will have teleporters available).
Basic combat, with simple enemies. These enemies will likely be lifeforms indigenous to the planet, no actual "races" to fight with yet. The player will have a limited selection of weapons and equipment types.
There will also need to be a very basic economy to allow the play to buy ships, weapons, and ammo.

If I have time, I will add in a day/night cycle, dynamic weather, and controllable vehicles.

Right now, I am waiting for a new version of the Torque engine, Torque 3D (T3D) to come out. I don't want to start on MS2 yet, because that will just make what may already be a difficult porting job even more difficult. I am currently porting MS1 from TGEA 1.7.1 to TGEA 1.8.1, because apparently there is going to be similarities between 1.8.1 and T3D, so the port should be easier.

Bye for now...
