I have improved the tactical systems in the game to allow the player to select a warhead type for their missiles before firing.

I have also added a “long range” missile that can engage targets that are much further away, and much faster, than the standard missiles.

In future, I intend to add many more different missile and weapon types.

The next logical step would be to add a way to load the ships magazine with a variety of missile types, depending on the players preferences.

Currently, only the number of missiles is stored, not the type.

However, this type of “resource management” element may need to be postponed for now, in favour of more testing and debugging.
