P0-A2: Part 476: Oceans

The sea floor and shoreline texture are now working, and the lighting and reflection issues seem to be mostly solved.

The water is looking quite good now, although there is still room for improvement. The lighting, etc, could be improved, in particular.

I have done some work on adding a “foam” effect to the shoreline, but I couldn’t get this to work. The water shader that I am using is a modified form of the Unity Advanced water shader, and it does have support for foam, but this doesn’t seem to work with my terrain object. It seems that the water object can’t collide with itself, and since the water is a part of the terrain object, this means that the surf or shore foam effect doesn’t work.

The next, and final, goal is to make sure that the water works at all distances, without performance issues, artifacts, etc.
