P0-A1: Part 401: VR Games, Immersion, etc.

by on Jul.08, 2018, under Astral Realms, P-0, Software and Games, Spiritus Astrum

I intend to create a VR-Concept game to test, primarily, immersion and realism, and to improve my art skills.

The main goal will be to create an immersion environment that can be interacted with in VR (With a non-VR mode accessible as well).

To provide some substance to the gameplay, I have decided to create a simple poker game, with the player playing against the computer.

The focus will be on total immersion, so there will be no user interface, no buttons, etc, all of the actions (handling cards, etc) will be done by interacting with the objects themselves.

The poker game logic is done, and I have begun working on adding the visual elements to the game, although I haven’t started working on the scene itself yet.
