P0-MS4: Part 273: VR Testing, Integration

I am currently working on adding support for rotation as well as teleportation in VR (Using the Oculus Rift and Touch).
I can teleport from point to point easily using raycasts, and I can rotate the player easily as well using a simple on screen pointer to show the direction of rotation. However, there is an issue which I am having difficulty with.
Whenever the player rotates the VR headset in real life, it seems to break the rotations of the player controller in the game. IE, if the player rotates their headset by 90 degrees, and then tries to rotate their character in the game, the character’s rotation will be 90 degrees off what it should be.
I have tried varies methods of fixing this, but I haven’t quite figured it out yet. I may need to just assume that that project only supports “front facing” VR for the moment.
